I've been an occasional LJ reader/browser since about 2001 and normally comment to my LJ friends via their private email addresses.

I kept putting it off but it's long past time to set up a user ID here so that I can utilize some of the LJ community resources, and most importantly, to be able to comment to more LJ members.
